Cover Supervisors (£16,006 – £18,008 p.a.)

27.5 - 37 hours per week term time plus 1 week
Actual salary is quoted and is based on 37 hours term time plus 1 week

We are seeking to appoint highly motivated and flexible team players who will be expected to provide cover in lessons for absent teachers. The role will primarily involve communicating teacher set tasks to pupils and supervising the completion of that work whilst promoting positive behaviour and conduct.

Teaching Assistants Level 3 and Level 2

Permanent and fixed term opportunities
Level 3 (£11,247 - £12,654 p.a.) Level 2 (£9,897 - £11,247 p.a.)
Actual salary is quoted and is based on 26 hours per week term time plus 1 week.

We are seeking to appoint suitably motivated and experienced individuals to join a large team of Teaching Assistants within a busy department. Duties will include supporting in mainstream lessons, small groups or 1 to 1 sessions in order to facilitate pupil learning, engagement, inclusion and development of the whole child.

At Teaching Assistant Level 3 we are looking for experience and specialism in supporting pupils with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties.

At Teaching Assistant Level 2 we have a particular requirement for experience or an aptitude for working with pupils with physical difficulties. Experience in Moving and Handling and/or Personal Care would be an advantage. Please state clearly on the application form which post you are applying for. Fixed term roles would be for the period to 31 August 2010.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a well qualified and experienced teacher of Resistant Materials and/or Graphics in the Technology Department of this very popular and academically successful school of 1700 students (500 in the Sixth Form). The requirement is for a teacher to work 2 days per week.

The requirement is for a teacher to work 2 days per week. Applicants who would also be able to teach Food Technology should make this clear on their application as it might be possible to rotate staff within the department to accommodate a teacher with these additional skills.
