Dear new pupil,

Welcome to your new school. We are sure you will like it here and that you will be successful if you work hard and look after each other. It may seem strange at first being part of a large school with many pupils and staff, but give it time and you will settle in. Turton is a friendly school where you will find people ready to help you, especially your group tutor who you will see every day.

You will have plenty of new opportunites and things to do:

• Different subjects
• Newly refurbished rooms
• Clubs and activities to join after school
• Lots of different sports
