The school and its staff will endeavour to:
- Ensure that all students are offered a broad and balanced curriculum
- Set and mark work regularly
- Monitor the use of homework planners
- Keep records of students’ achievement and development
- Provide an effective support system for student development
- Arrange consultation evenings for parents to attend
- Do our best to ensure that students are safe, healthy and happy.
- Develop and maintain high standards of dress, behaviour, manners and the academic and social achievement of all pupils
- Ensure that students are aware of the dangers of nicotine, alcohol and other drugs and promote healthy lifestyles.
- Keep parents informed about school matters and about the progress of their children
- Monitor school attendance and punctuality
- Contact parents as necessary about problems concerning their child
- Respond sensitively and as soon as possible to concerns expressed by parents
