HAIRSTYLES:
In an effort to maintain standards we ask for your co-operation regarding hairstyles. Severe haircuts including stepped, undercut, tramlines, extremely close-cut styles or any pattern shaved into the hair are not desirable. Nor would we wish to accept hair which is dyed to multi-colours or unnatural colours. Long hair should be tied back or otherwise look neat, tidy and well-kept.
COATS & TOPS:
Outdoor coats should be of a dark colour and suitable for adverse weather conditions: denim and sweatshirt fabric and hooded tops are not acceptable. We recommend that expensive designer coats are not brought into school.
OTHER RULES:
Every item of clothing or equipment must be clearly marked with name. No jewellery except for a watch. Body piercing and adornment is not permitted, students will be required to remove the non-uniform item.
Exception: One discreet stud worn in the lobe of each ear is permitted for students with pierced ears. Make up or nail varnish must not be worn at all in Years 7-9 Years 10-11 are allowed to wear discreet make-up as an upper school privilege.
Trainers and caps must not be worn. Mobile phones, Walkmans, MP3 or minidisk players must not be used during lessons. The school does not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to these items if they are brought into school. PSPs are also not allowed in school. School bag of an appropriate size and fabric suitable for carrying essential items i.e. pen, pencil, ruler, rubber, calculator, dictionary, school organiser and the necessary books/files for each lesson.

Equipment required:

For Maths you will need :
> A scientific calculator
> A pair of compasses
> An angle measurer/ protractor
For Art & Design you will need:
An A4 spiral bound sketch book, a 2B and 4B drawing pencil, a pencil sharpener, a black fineliner pen, soft quality coloured pencil crayons.
For Spanish/French you will need:
> A pocket dictionary
Homework Organiser:
You will need to bring your organiser to every lesson. You will need to write down your homework or things you may have to bring to the next lesson.
